My love letter to Mage: The Ascension based on looking just at the pictures and not reading the book.

Nutshell Pitch:

You play people in the modern day who are aware of the secret Mythical world, and can do magic by various means.

The Game

Your Stats are Fire, Air, Water and Earth

Each has two Basic Moves associated with it, one physical, one metaphysical.

Your "playbook" is actually a Spellbook, and each Spell is a Move. You build your Spellbook custom to your character and can upgrade it as you play.

Spells are built via "Schools" that give the loose/rules architecture for what to roll, what you can do, and what you can make up.
